This piece is an homage to my husband\u2019s grandfather who inspired my doctoral research on the cultural and theoretical framings of dementia. It represents ‘age and time disorientation,’ which is commonly experienced due to Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. Through a collage-style arrangements of photographs, this image highlights the porosity and nonlinearity of the temporality lived by people with dementia. Challenging the dominant narrative of decline, this image urges us to rethink living with dementia as different ways of being and living.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
