This is a mixed-media piece including a medical scan of my own brain during a time in which I was hospitalized. By combining medical photography with graphic illustration, I connect my mental symptoms to each other to resist the body \/ mind separation that I often encounter as a patient with multiple mental health diagnoses. Instead of seeing each of my symptoms as isolated, finding connections allows me to create an empowered path into the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
