This image is taken from my 2018 exhibition Isachsen, which explored themes of isolation, trauma, and depression through photographs and video footage of an abandoned remote Arctic weather station that my father spent 12 months at in 1974\/75. In April of 2016, I chartered a plane to drop me off at the site and spent a week camped out in the frigid cold to experience and capture a sense of my father\u2018s traumatic experience there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
