The main character in this artwork is a mermaid trapped in a net made of measuring tape. She buries her head in melting strawberry ice-cream. She struggles but she can\u2019t stop eating. She looks for comfort in the food, but she is also scared of eating because it will make her fat and ugly. She uses the food to deal with stress, but that only causes more stress. She can\u2019t escape from the vicious circle. The inspiration is from people suffering eating disorder and body image issues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
