Lisa Schwartz<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erosion of one\u2019s mental state during isolation. Darkness and fear emerge through layers of wool placed on the flimsy skeletal frame. Manipulation, friction, creating a shell resembling a state of mental health in need of support. The hardened exterior, vulnerable and empty inside, stands alone. Sharing my art with family and friends brings empathy and healing, telling me I\u2019m not alone while connecting with what is kept deep in my soul. The never-ending pandemic was the inspiration for this piece, as sadness and feeling isolated became the \u2018new normal\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
