This piece is about the embodied, lived experience of Black, Indigenous and Persons of Colour (BIPOC) with mental illness being unheard, unseen, unknown in their mental health struggle. Audre Lorde, the inspiration for this piece, stated that \u201cthe master\u2019s tools will never dismantle the master\u2019s house.\u201d This piece is an act of resistance for all BIPOC struggling with mental illness and going unseen in society. Even though the colonizers tried to bury them, they had no idea they were seeds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
