The ongoing series \u201cScrap Notes\u201d is an autobiographical comic exploration of navigating life as a queer femme with mental illness. In our society there are illnesses divided by public perceptions of \u201csafe\u201d and \u201cdangerous\u201d. While any illness is a cross to bear, one that comes with social stigma puts an individual against so many more odds. Each sticky note I write affirms my experience, my existence, as real and valid. In addition to helping me process my own experiences with mental illness, I hope one day they can also remind others they are not alone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
