Denielle Elliott<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Denielle Elliott is a socio-cultural anthropologist at York University. Her work adopts arts-based methodologies and experimental ethnography to understand how the imperceptible effects of brain trauma are known by a field of actors connected through brain studies. Her work is collaborative, partnering with artists, scholars, and neuroscientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early childhood she was mesmerized by the stained-glass windows in the basilicas of Quebec City and Montreal, and would reflect on every individual panel and the minute details therein. She believes that working with glass is far less about realistic representation than it is about precision, care, and most of all, the willingness to adapt, to work with the grooves of each sheet of glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Website<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Michelle Charette is a PhD candidate in the Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) at York University. Her research focuses on contemporary clinical systems designed to enhance care for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.
