Maya graduated the University of Alberta\u2019s Bachelor of Fine Arts program in 2018 and continues to foster a strong practice based in textiles, sculpture and other mixed media. Maya\u2019s work explores the realms of her experience with mental illness, identity, and health through methods of sewn storytelling.
