PLA 3D print<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a 3D print of my mother\u2019s brain being tenderly held in the hands of a stranger. The model of the brain was created using MR scan data acquired to diagnose my mother\u2019s Lewy Body Dementia. As my mother\u2019s dementia progressed, we found we were unable to care for her ourselves at home so she moved to a dementia care facility. Although we were incredibly thankful for the care she was given by health care professionals, it was also terribly hard to not be able to look after our mother in the final stages of her illness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
