He Must Be Out of His Mind

How do you reconstruct your own mind, your brain, and your presence? In January of 2021, I suffered intracerebral hemorrhage. He Must Be Out of His Mind explores the chaotic beginning of the reconnection with my loved ones after my stroke. It demonstrates the different perspective and expectation other human beings have of me. Sometimes, it is the reaction I get when I share my clarity. ‘He must be out of his mind’ is the self-comforting reasoning other humans like to use.
