My work is centered around personal narrative and autobiographic storytelling. Much of it addresses lived experience with generalized and social anxiety. Although sharing these narratives can be a compromising act, it has led to meaningful connections with patrons of my work, making the sharing of these vulnerabilities through art one of the most valuable and motivating aspects of my life. The images resonate with people who then feel safe to share their own struggles with mental health, creating a space for empathy and community building.
