Knitted Memories

Paige Faulkner

oil & acrylic medium on canvas

This piece illuminates how memories connect us to loved ones and life experiences that have shaped our identity. The idea of knitting neurons together speaks to the desire to retain memories that neurodegenerative disorders or ageing can erode. With my art, I hope to connect the precious human possession of memories with the neurobiology behind them.
