BPD: Beautiful Person enDuring

Borderline Personality Disorder is one of the most stigmatized mental illnesses within the mental health field. Research on BPD using brain scans has shown differences between brains with BPD and those without. In my recovery from BPD I have come to understand the beautifully resilient ways in which individuals with BPD survive and thrive. In the spirit of the intersection between art and neuroscience, I have used Metis traditional artistic beading to showcase the beauty of neuroscience research on the BPD brain.
