Tête à Tête

This is a recording of Tête-à-Tête, a VR artwork made using an MRI and CT brain scan. The scans are placed face to face, as if in a private conversation. Embedded into the CT scan (right) are models of blood flow and text from an automated brain analysis software called Freesurfer that segments the brain into functional areas. In the MR brain scan (left) is the model of the segmented brain. Keywords relating to the different functional areas arise from the brain segments. This interactive VR environment allows the heads to be dissected and inspected in a virtual voyage to discover the human brain physiology.
